NOW... the painful truth

Wenger has come out and blasted the press and Barcelona. At the same time, warned barcelona that we have as much chance of signing Messi as they would of signing Cesc.

Mr Wenger, why do you think everyone has the idea that we are a selling club.. This team is weak no matter what you say. Just look at our squad for tonight match.. and we lost 2 first teamer in Adebayor and Toure. With only one signing, i really don't see how we can challenge for anything this season. Our spending is that of a mid table team. How do you make people believe you have the money to compete and ward off others for wanting to buy your top players.

Some facts..

Denilson and Diaby are just not good enough. They will do ok if everyone else is playing well. But in tough matches, they will crumpled. Even is Denilson has played almost all the matches last season. i am sure everyone would agree that he is still not at that level.

At 21, Denilson is still at a pretty young stage and could improve more. But at this time, to challenge for the title. we simply need better.

Diaby at 23, apart from a few nice goals last season, is prone to errors. Errors that could prove costly in a title race. Being regard as a possible ball holding midfielder, the amount of time he loses the ball is scary.

Willam Gallas
32, defender
At 32, he is reaching the end of his playing career. now that we have lost toure, he is going to be the starting central defender. This is what i am worried about. His errors has not only cost him the captaincy but our title as well. We need another defender, Brede Hangeland could be a solution. he will add much needed height(1.94m) to our back line and signing someone who has played week in week out in the league before also helped. plus at 28, he has some level of experience. He will also be hungry as this will be his last chance of playing for a big club.

Theo Walcott
20, winger/forward
At 17, he was a bright shinning star. speed and ability lead to comparison with greats like Thierry Henry. Went to the world cup even if he never played. He was a star in the making. 3 year on, he has not become the player everyone wants him to be. Maybe he was a little overrated, his scoring record wasn't anything to be pround of. 5 goals in 25 matches and only 3 assists. Will he explodes and turn into a world beater? we really need him to do so if Wenger is not going to buy any strikers. if now then he better be careful, cause as it stand, Vela and even Wilshere could bring more to the field.

The upcoming matches against Everton and Celtic could show us more. We need to win and convincingly. Losing both will end our season even before it started.

New season.. but same old story

After a long break.. the new season is starting soon.. However for some arsenal fans like myself.. its the same old story again. I am pretty sick if u ask me.. on one side the board, wenger has come out to say they have the money.. on the other they are not signing anoyone and are satisfied with the squad. how can u be satisfied with a squad that didn't really challenge for anything really.. of course one can say that they were in the semi of the champions' league and all.. its just not good enough..


I am sure everyone is convince that the loss of flamini proves to be one of our main problem. The loss of helb is nothing to talk about really. I am happy with Nasri and Arshavin. The failure of finding the successor to Henry also proves to be a problem.

Let me start with the good news.

Jack Wilshere
17, attacking midfielder
Skillful, has that X factor about him. That 2 goals against Rangers show that he is just class. he also has the vision to pick out his mates (if u have seen his video, u will understand) I hope to see him more this season, but he does need to be grow strong. He does remind me of someone(dare i say, Messi) u decide.

Fran Merida Perez
19, midfielder
In the Rangers game, he looks good, maybe a bit raw. but with a few more games. i do believe he is good enough to play for us. He ability to play on the wings also give us option. With Nasri and RoSICKy (u know what i mean) out for the start he could be a able replacement.

Andrei Arshavin
28, attacking midfielder
One word to sum him up... CLASS. I think together with Cesc. we have 2 players that can really drag us up 1-2 places in the league. He has a game thats very hard to control if he is playing at his best. He is a very good finisher, he can take on players, he is fast and he can really pick out a pass. Being 28, he will also add that much needed mental strength to the team. Oh ya, for the 14-15 games he played last season, he score 6 and assisted 7.

Aaron Ramsey
19, Midfielder
He is good, he was able to control that game against Rangers. Everytime he played, he has done well. More games and experience will only make him better. Let hope he continue to improve. I think he has got lots of ability.. good passing, able to hold his own against bigger opponent.


Alexandre Song Billong
22, holding midfielder
He has to improve alot but i must say he is to me better then denilson and diaby. But he does need to improve his overall.

Cesc Fábregas
22, central midfielder
I dun have to say anything.. I do hope that if we dun signed anyone, he is not going to get fed up and leave. I have seen Wenger starting the matches in pre season with a 4-5-1 or 4-3-3. I do hope that our central trio would be cesc, song and ramsey. with song and ramsey doing the dirty work.. A free flowing cesc will be able to pick out our attacking players with ease.

Dear Mr Wenger,

Hi, if this is not prove that we need to sign need players.. What is? Against ManU I have said that we were not at the races. Many could have put it down as a poor match. This was worst we did create chances but we are putting them away. To be it bluntly no one is a arsenal shirt even look like scoring. And WHY IS BENTNDER PUT ON THE LEFT, WENGER.. WTF.. HE IS NO HENRY..

1st gloomy question
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, did you see people leaving the stadium with 30mins to go at the ManU match, did you see empty seat appear with 10-15 mins to go this morning. mind you this are the very people that has paid quite abit of their salary to come see you. And they left in the middle of a so called big match with the rest of the big four. Will you all be able to fill the stadium next few season? a state of the art 60,000 seater.

2nd gloomy question
We have struggled defensive again and again. Even we Gallas fit, i have doubts over our defence being good enough or consistent enough. With Kolo rumor to be leaving at the end of the season. who do we have left? Johan Djourou Age:22 can do with playing as a understudy for the first choice defence and learn from them. Will you be strengthen this area?

3th gloomy question
The scoring department is a disgrace really. I think we have created at least 15 chances and only score 1. we have lots of possession as well. This is worryingly lots of possession plus chances usually mean lots of goals. Ok eduardo is out(the only player i see likely to cross the 20 goals marks every season or just one like Ade) but the other 3 strikers? RVP, ADEBAYOR, BENDNTER.. Are you sticking with them?

4th gloomy question
The midfield was again not combative. And why is that shi diaby playing there was a period in the match that even the commentors commented. 'he has lose to ball 3times in 5 mins.' actually by mine calculation it was 4. The he even try to score ahead of Cesc who is in a better position. WTF. He has to go. Do you have to guts to offload ur young guns??

The 1 bright note.
I guess there is some solutions on display. Some of the players show that they have heart. Walcott at times prove to be a handful for the scum (at left back for chelsea) but he wasted a host of chances. Song prove to be a good player but still need to improve. RVP can play in the Dennis role but we need a Henry. and ADEBAYOR and BENTNDER is not it.

Is Mr Wenger losing it??

Some disturbing news has appear over the last few days..

First a passionate Arsenal killed himself after the loss to ManU in the semi final. Even if his action are extreme. It shows that Arsenal fans are losing their patient.

Walcott has just committed to a new deal. What i can said is that sometime he does show that he has something special. But if he can do it week in week out or when the chips are down. Then he is not good enough.. 1-2yr more at most if not we had to look at him and said " son, u are better of to leave for a mid table team, u are not good enough."

Our dear Adebayor is at it again.. now he is 100% committed. Saying how he want to fire the club to glory in 2010. My word of advice for him, he better not have a off season and work non stop on your finishing, passing and composure and quit calling Milan. This definitely has to be his last season if he doesn't hit the 25 goal mark. I think Gabriel Agbonlahor would be a good replacement. And he probably fits the profile of a Wenger's boys, young and fast, likely to be below the 15million bracket.

Arsene Wenger has come out and said that there is no reason for Arsenal to panic into buying new players. Wenger described the defeat to ManU as "the most disappointing of his career". Yet he does not see the need to strengthen the squad. Something i am sure many of us will be left wondering WHY. He can go on and on about our young squad.. oldest midfielder at 22. but does that really matters? everyone wants to win.. even the players would hope to play with players that can help them to win. players like diaby (who lose the ball more then his passes) will only create doubts among the team. when there is doubts its hard to perform at the highest level. And Mr Wenger insistence on some players has create a negative feeling to some players i think. They will probably be thinking 1-2 bad game i will still be able to get back into the team. so its ok if i screw up. This is bad as everyone shld be playing at its best or at least trying every match.

Bottomline is we have got to strengthen and offload a few of the young players. we have done that before with players like Bently, pennent and upson. I think some players like diaby and adebayor has probably overstay already.

Yet another disappointing season...

Once again we have end the season with nothing.. and it has also end early.. being a Arsenal fan these days are pretty heart breaking.

We were simply not in the race with Man utd. We have beaten them before in this season but over 2 legs of the champions league. We have shown that it was because Man utd had a bad day that day. I think Adebayor is the best representative of Arsenal now, not because he is performing well or what. But because we just don't what to expect... one moment he is like the best forward in the world score super goal like the one against villarreal the next he is a nobody that can't even control a simple pass. One moment we beat team like villarreal 3-0, the next we get beaten by the like of hull (no offense but u get the point). How many times we have given the lead away with only minutes or shld i say seconds to go. 4-3 up against liverpool at 90mins only to be 4-4 at full time. 4-2 up against spurs at only to be 4-4 at full time. Just like Adebayor one moment he say he is comminted to the club saying joining milan is just a crush. the next he is saying he regularly speak to the chairman of milan.. WTF. Just leave already you are not good enough anyway.

I am sure all Arsenal fans will agreed that too often too many of our top players are link with moves to top clubs.. Aren't we a top club.. oh yah our shit board is keeping the money to themselves instead of paying the players well enough or buying the right players.

Too many a times.. we heard stuffs like our players are not experience enough.. too young.. That are all excuses.. why? when you are telling ppl that if you are good enough u are old enough then age is not a problem. inexperience most of the players has played many top flight games as well as the champions league. There is only 1 explaination simply not good enough.

9 draw in 15 games also sum up our season. we are not scoring enough but leaking too many. Our top goal getter RVP and adebayor are already at a age where they have to hit that 20goal mark yr in yr out. but they are simply not scoring enough.. Bendnter is still young.. Euardo need to be fit(we might have a chance) Vela looks ok but still young. i sad let RVP and adebayor go. Get Villa in!!! well i bet the board will just force wenger to go get somthing 20yr old kid and share the money among themselves.

In fact most of the times this season, our most enjoyment performance seems to be coming for the 2nd team. The likes of jack whishere, vela, song and co. I think they are good enough to even beat the first teamers.

Anyway i just hope we do get some quality signing in this summer, maybe a top class defender or defensive mid and a good forward. (that wolfburg striker seems like the real deal). I really hope we end the drought for silverware and have somthing to cheer and hang on to.

Another match.. another draw.. I am so frustrated that i couldn't even finish my post on the players.. Its just painful to watch.. we really suck.

My predication at the moment is that we will finish six on the table. And maybe play in some intertoto cup to get in to europe thru the back door. Everton (lose their best player) looks so much better.

We really need to sign players but the problem is that who is even thinking about coming beside some kids who think abt being groom into the Theirry Henry, Anelka or Viera. Come end of this season.. the rumors abt our top players leaving will be even worse then pervious season but who could blame the press. You are talking about hot players like Nasri, Fab, RVP. They weren't want to play for a team that's in mid table.

Worst case.. let me give every Arsenal fan a break down. Fab to return to barcelona(that day looks even nearer), RVP to follow him to there. Nasri could return to france with lyon might happen. Vela could be snap up by some spainish club having spent a yr ther. Eduardo might be snap by italian clubs.. they always like potent scorers. Walcott could join aston villa(the new Big 4).. Sagna is good enough to play for any big clubs. Even players like Toure might leaving with Man city offering big money

Arsene Wenger was saying we could still break back into the top 4... we are now level with Everton. And Chelsea just won their game.

To think i stay up to watch the game when i need to wake up in 4hrs time to work.. is simply a waste of time. I would be better watching this clip from youtube.

Eduardo da Silva: Arsenal’s potent scorer

This morning, I think everyone following Arsenal would be pleased with a few things.. on and off the field..

Eduardo is BACK! not only playing but scoring..Earlier in the week, we saw reports that Bendtner said that he should be playing and starting every games.. I actually quite like him, cause at the moment, he is putting in more effort then Edebayor. But my god, saying he had never seen Arshavin play.. boy you just have to go to youtube to take a look.. Now i know he stayed at a place with no internet connection(maybe some forested area in london).

He should just learn from Eduardo. Not only has he come back from that horrible tackle.. He has proven once again, he is a potent scorer.. The Best number 9 for us in a long time. Many has tired but fail to take the number 9 jersey.. but it looks like he is the chosen one. 'the fox in the box.'

Off the field, Red and White Holdings co-owned by billionaire Alisher Usmanov have increased their stake in Arsenal to 25%. If the stake was to reach 30%, the company could launch a formal takeover bid. Ok i was watching our last game with my mates the other day. And the performance of some players was just awful. And i just don't understand whats going thru Eboue mind..

Even Van Persie has come out and say we are not good enough. If we carry on like that, by summer we would be not good enough to keep him. If he go we will be in deep shit.. cause that would almost mean that Cesc will be heading back to spain.

Arsenal’s run of 11 games without defeat is not good enough..? if we are talking about 9-10 win then its something. At the moment, we don't look like scoring and constantly look shaky at the back.. i am really worry we mind end up in a lower position (out of europe!!!!!! everton is only 4 pts behind us)

Almunia looked like a decent keeper. I think the only flaw could be that he can't really deal with crosses. Or maybe its because out team in general defend poorly against crosses. I think we like to play the ball on the ground so even in training there isn't any crosses to defend against. practice make prefect. I think we need a more experience keeper to challenge him. As Lukasz Fabianski (best keeper in Polish League 06/07) and Vito Mannone looks to young to mount a serious shout for the No.1 spot. unless of course Fabianski improve quite a lot over the next few mths

Here is the dept i think we need the most reinforcement. At the moment, our strongest back 4 would be Sagne, Toure, Gallas and Clichy. This is a defends line that should do ok. However this season, all of a sudden we got problems holding on to leads.. dealing with crosses. And we have had internal problem like between Kolo and Gallas.. making this partnership unstable. I think Gallas seems to be pass his prime and the rest is just too young and inexperience to fill his boots. I would like to see us landing a more experience and tough defender.. someone like micah richards or daniel agger(heard he is unhappy) or even Ricardo Carvalho(who has not play much for chelsea, but he is a quality 1)

Flamini and Helb
They left and was never really replace.. We got Nasir in and he is a class act.(lets hope he will stay long enough) Like many Gunner fans, i was really sad when they leave.. mainly becoz of money as they are not really going to be on the 1st team of their new clubs. Flamini start just 9 for milan and Helb just 4. But can you blamed them? if someone come about and tell you that they are going to give you a 50% increment on your salary and you will be working with established professionals. Who would say no?

One thing to note, in the list of the top 20 richest players in the EPL. There isn't a single player for Arsenal.. the closest.. Nicolas Anelka and Ashley Cole.. WTF. (big 4 players paid like a mid table player? i dun know how much they are actually paid)

NEW GROUND.. Emirates Stadium

We have a 60 000 plus stadium, Emirates Stadium. State of the art. Its supposed to help us compete with the other big 4?? Our season tickets are 1 of the most expensive. Then why we operating on sure a tight budget. To put things in perspective,
